She graduated in HKU in 1998 and has been working in the field of psychiatry since 1999.  She has worked in various psychiatric units in Hong Kong, including Tai Po Hospital, Castle Peak Hospital, Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital. She has received professional training in various subspecialties, including Child and Adolescent psychiatry, Community and Rehabilitation Psychiatry, Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry and, General Adult Psychiatry. She became a member of the Royal College of psychiatry in 2003. She became a specialist psychiatrist in the year 2008.  She worked as Associate Consultant psychiatrist before private practice. 

She has admission privilege in the various private hospitals in Hong Kong, including the Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital; the St Paul Hospital and the Union Hospital.
